My family and I are moving and have to sell this car.
I purchased this Nomad in 1995 from the owner he had removed most of the parts from the car i saw that the floors were almost like a new car. I removed the body from the frame and began working on repairing and replacing whatever needed . we have enjoyed this Nomad driving it anywhere we wanted. it has a 350 4v engine, the owner told me it was a GM crate engine that was installed around 2 years before he purchased the Nomad,a 700r4 trans, 5000 power steering,power disc brakes,tilt wheel, vintage air, Camaro rear end with 3:08 gears.accessory guards ft and rear also rocker moldings,turn signal mounted in side mirrors. The interior is like the original pattern with blue cloth waffle pattern and off white Marine vinyl and has Daytona carpet.The bumpers were done by Lemon Grove Plating in Ca. Nomad Trim was sent to Bow Tie Chevy for plating. all new glass except rear gate glass.It has been driven to shows and cruise- ins, so it is not like a fresh restoration it does have some minor flaws from use. It also needs a good cleaning. We have driven it a little under 17,000 miles.Drove Ga to Tn,NC last year. A $500 non refundable deposit is required at purchase and total payment to be paid in full in 7 days. ALL funds must clear my bank before the car will be released Also Cash must be varified legal by my bank. This Nomad is Sold AS-IS Where IS. ask questions before bidding. Sold As IS with a Bill of sale, Ga. did not have titles until 1963.We are selling due to age and health issues. We hope that someone will purchase and enjoy it as much as we have.This is a great Driver Quality car built as we wanted it to drive not for show* more info. the front suspension was completly rebuilt with new springs,ball joints,all bushings,tie rods,center link,idler arm,new ft.sway bar. disc brakes ft. new pads,shoes,wheel cyls. calipers,lines ft.to rear. NOTICE I have looked over the cargo trim I have and there is not a complete set and what is there is rough so it will not be included as it is not good enough for this Nomad.
“this nomad has the original floors,cargo area,tail pan,tail gate rockers fenders ,hood with no patch panels. This is a Very Solid Nomad. the doors had the lower bottoms replaced before i purchased this nomad. the doors look to have been replacement doors from another Nomad as they were a different original color than the rest of the body. i have new seal for the lift gate not installed.have a radio with CD not installed at this time. original vin & Data plate on the car original 55 color Glacier Blue/shoreline Beige now OEM color was Nav.
